Faithful to God's Calling
Adorn Dancewear was founded by Abigail Van Horn, a native of Colorado and a passionate dancer. As a toddler, she discovered the joys of dance through classes at Turning Pointe Dance, where she continued to train and now teaches. Having experienced Turning Pointe, a Christian dance studio, and seeing the difference from secular dance studios and companies, Abigail knew she wanted to provide dancewear with the same intention. One Easter Sunday, after returning from a mission trip to El Salvador, Abigail received this dream from the Lord as she was worshipping at her church. Adorn's name comes from 1 Peter 3:3-4 which says, "Do not let your adorning be external - the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear - but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious."
Ms. Abbie is now a part of Messengerz Dance Company, along with choreographing for Fidele Youth Dance Company and teaching at Turning Pointe Dance. Her vision for Adorn Dancewear is to become a discipleship ministry for young women.
